Mary Lindstrom is one of the many who have given herself to filmdom in but one performance, but at least it was a doozy. For this pretty lady it was Appuntamento in nero (1990), or Scandel in Black, about a political man with a good career, whose wife falsifies a police report. Mary, who plays, Eva, a friend to the wife and a lover of the husband, uses the pretext to kill the wife. It get complicated and not a little bit convoluted, which is why we need Mary’s nudity to clear the mental palette and allow us to cross that suspension bridge of disbelief. It’s worth it, too.
