It’s no coincidence that Italian-born eyeful Rosángela Balbó’s first name conjures up images of soft, delicate roses and angels, but even without her lush blonde hair and heavenly, innocent cherub face, a Rosángela by any other name would still smell as sweet. With an extremely successful career spanning a staggering four decades, Balbó is a recognized actress of screens big and small. She began her career with a small part in Amorina (1961), an adaptation of an Eduardo Borrás play, which led to steady work in countless films. In the 1990s Rosángela concentrated mostly on small-screen work in South America, along with spicing up numerous Mexican soaps while making audiences feel dirty! Although Balbó boasts over sixty credits in her filmography, her sole skin scene remains forever nestled in the middle of burrito western El Pistolero del diablo (1974). The bad news is that our heroine is assaulted and murdered in the flick, but the good news is that one can see all of Rosángela’s rosy angles--including her fluffy muff taco--in the process.
