Born in Rio Branco, Brazil in 1965, Silvana Maria Escócio Drummond Viana de Faria was wise to shorten her name to simply Silvana de Faria. Though her acting career was fairly short-lived, spanning only three films and two TV series in ten years, she managed to go on to a fairly successful career as a singer, topping the charts in France! Her TV roles include the series Haute Tension and Julie Lescaut, as well as the films Overseas (1990), Lune froide (1991), and her most skinsational role of all in The Emerald Forest (1985).
