3 garçons, 1 fille, 2 mariages (2004) is the winning combination in Stéphane Clavier's screwball comedy about friends who can’t decide on who’s best for one another. Clavier’s film centers on Dan (Olivier Sitruk), the heterosexual host of a radio call-in show, and Laurent (Arnaud Giovaninetti), a gay activist who’s secretly smitten with Dan. When Dan falls hard for the alluring Camille (Julie Gayet), Laurent enlists a lesbian friend (Anne Azoulay) to distract the woman so he can nab his man. Needless to say, this last plot development is Clavier’s pièce de résistance--it offers the comely French gals an opportunity to drop their tops for some irresistible same-sex frolicking.
