Sexy: Ballykissangel Sexy Scenes

This great little show about a tiny Irish town and its line-up of weirdos was made all the better when the emphasis went away from the weirdos and onto the budding romance (or lack of, if they get their own way) between the local pub landlady (Dervla Kirwan) and the parish Priest (Stephen Tompkinson). The beauty of this series was very simple – it was understated. The characters could have been people you know, or grew up next door to, while the situations didn’t push the reality envelope. One of the few series you could watch (and enjoy) with your mother or even grandmother, Ballykissangel lasted six seasons on the air before a series of departing cast members and the sickness of others brought it all to a halt, but the smoldering sexuality of Assumptah Fitzgerald (Kirwan) will not be forgotten soon by male fans of the series.
