This kids science show is most definitely bizarre. Cut together like the most frenetic MTV music video and presented in the manner of a Monty Python sketch, the show gives the children viewing a good background in scientific principles while keeping them totally entertained with animation, interviews with famous dead people of science and the occasional experiment. The undeniably gorgeous Alanna Ubach (Legally Blonde) was Beakman’s assistant on the show, way back when she was a mere 17-years-old. My, hasn’t she blossomed?
