Hill Street Blues was a huge success in the 80’s, a cop show that took the genre to a whole new level. Whoever had the idea of spinning off a series starring Hill Street character Norman Buntz (Denis Franz) and then sent him out of the big city to become a Southern California private detective, needs to have their head checked for mild deformities.
