An eclectic group of misfits retires to a haunted castle to claim their inheritance in the spooky and outlandish Italian comedy Bollenti spiriti (1981). Johnny Dorelli, Gloria Guida, Lia Tanzi, and Lory Del Santo are among the guests seeking their fortune in a crumbling villa that’s a confusing maze of trap doors, rotating walls, and secret chambers. Ghostly spirits roam the halls too, but many of the guests are oddly unbothered; Del Santo struts confidently around her medieval chambers wearing nothing but a pair of chic white panties.
