Sexy: Central Park West Sexy Scenes

Producer Darren Star hoped to supplant the insane success of his Melrose Place into a swanky New York high-rise. The show lasted 21 episodes. A few familiar faces (Madchen Amick, Amanda Peet, Ron Liebman, Raquel Welch) populated the season but fans were unenthused about the rehashed plots, most of which dealt with A) who’s shtupping who, B) who’s angry about it and C) who’s angry enough about it to commit violence. Proof positive that lightning rarely hits the same spot twice, this one vanished before the first season was up…and Melrose just kept on churning.
