Back in 1989, Jaclyn Smith starred in an ABC movie-of-the-week that apparently wowed someone at the network, because just a few months later there was a series incarnation. I’m not certain if it was a bona-fide series or if it was just the original production sliced up into smaller segments but either way it doesn’t matter much as the show was canceled after just a few months. By the way, it was a show about a beautiful socialite woman who solved murders. Sounds great.
