Sexy: Harsh Realm Sexy Scenes

A wacky attempt to meld TV action with virtual reality technology, Harsh Realm was sold hard by the Fox Network, but viewers shoved it right on back. Scott Bairstow is a military scientist stuck in the computer realm, each week having a new virtual adventure. Hoping to achieve even half the success of his X-Files series, producer Chris Carter loaded the show with potentially clever ideas and flashy effects, but even yeoman performers like D.B. Sweeney, Terry O’Quinn, and Samantha Mathis couldn’t save this high-concept dud. In reality, virtual or otherwise, it disappeared because life is after all, a harsh realm.
