In the Italian thriller Ne parliamo lunedì (1990), a married couple decides to become proprietors of a motel, not knowing that the decision will plunge them into a seedy world of backstabbing, adultery, and murder. The trouble starts when co-owner Alma (Elena Sofia Ricci) is introduced to a dashing guest (Andrea Roncato), with whom she falls desperately in love. Before long the two are plotting to knock off Alma’s oblivious husband (Francesco Scali), but the plan only goes off after a bizarre series of hitches. Ricci’s perfectly cast as a femme fatale--the chesty blonde sports just the kind of body that makes men go temporarily cuckoo.
