In Out of the Blue (1980), Dennis Hopper stars as Don Barnes, a boozing truck driver that ends up doing time for plowing his Big Rig into a stalled school bus, killing a bunch of kids. After five years in the pen, Don comes home to his drug-addled, cheating wife Kathy (Sharon Farrell) and distant punk rocker, Elvis-obsessed teenage daughter Cebe (Linda Manz). Life outside of lock up proves to be difficult for the felonious father and his dysfunctional family. Don and Kathy continue on with their sordid lives while Cebe wanders the streets, running from perverts, dancing with danger, playing drums for a punk band, and falling deeper into alienation. The moody film has a silver lining—Sharon shows her left titty, giving us a one way ticket to jerk off city.
