Nude: Rent-A-Pal 2020 Nude Scenes

The days before the internet was widely available were among the loneliest days imaginable. People desperate to connect with others but who lacked the basic social competence to go out and meet people were often driven to rather extreme measures in order to cut through their loneliness. The film Rent-A-Pal (2020) touches on what it was like to be one of those social outcasts. Set in 1990, the film centers on David (Brian Landis Folkins) your prototypical 40-year old virgin living in his mother's basement. David's loneliness is doubly crushing as literally the only person he has contact with is his mother (Kathleen Brady), who is suffering from dementia which seems to be getting worse by the day. Desperate to connect with people, he signs up for several different video dating services, none of which yield him a single date. Driven to even more desperate measures, David eventually ends up finding a video tape labeled Rent-A-Pal, containing a video where a charismatic man named Andy (Wil Wheaton) offers David friendship. Of course, that friendship comes at a price and Andy proves to be a much more persuasive and diabolical friend that David could've bargained for, leading him down a path from which there may be no return! This charmingly low-tech indie packs a punch when it comes to the blackest of black comedies, but it's sadly not a haven for great nudity—not totally surprising considering the dearth of characters! However, we do get a brief nude scene where Kathleen Brady's bare breasts can be seen as she gets out of the bath!
