Three city girls (Bonnie Bee Buzaard, Ginnie Curtis, M’el Dowd) who become pals at a Manhattan publishing company decide that they’re going to go after the ‘best of everything’, only to find the concept is a lot easier to imagine than achieve. Based on a novel and 1959 motion picture of the same name, this soap watched the heroines engage in failed romance, a little corporate intrigue and receive constant berating from their total bee-otch boss (Gale Sondergaard), at least until the viewers stopped watching (which was pretty quickly).
