A mid 70’s dramedy set inside a fictional TV station, this soap took Australia by storm for three years but made no friends in high places by basing some fairly ornery characters on real life TV moguls. Like Number 96 before it, this series attracted viewers through its raunchy storylines and nudity. Focusing on characters like 'maverick TV cop' Tony Wild (Ken James), TV host Gary Burke (Peter Regan) and reporter Vicki Stafford (Judy Nunn), the show pressed all the wrong buttons when it portrayed station managers and owners that resembled those that held the fate of the show. Sure enough after three years the curtain was pulled.
