Before Eva Longoria was on Desperate Housewives (2004-2012) and Jennifer Lopez was a judge on American Idol (2015-2016), luscious Latina Alma Muriel graced the small screen with her sexy presence. Through the years, the Mexican actress was a ravishing regular on several telenovelas (El Extraño Retorno de Diana Salazar) — via guest spots (El Noveno mandamiento), recurring roles (Si Dios me quita la vida), and starring parts (Si Dios me quita la vida, Vivir enamorada, Nunca te olvidaré). In fact, the hardworking hottie sizzled on shows in the 1970s (Yara, Cumbres borrascosas), ’80s (Principessa, Como duele callar) and ’90s (Yo compro esa mujer, Desencuentro). Yet Alma had already established herself with a movie career a decade before. After making her big screen debut in the 1969 films The Big Cube and Lío de faldas, the exotic ingénue flaunted her flesh in the musical comedy Bikinis y rock (1972) and bared her breasts in the crime flick El valle de los miserables (1974). Of course, here at Skin Central, we’re partial to Ms. Muriel’s part in Cuando tejen las arañas (1977). As a wealthy young woman who endures humiliation, the stunning starlet shows off her acting chops as well as her three Bs! If that’s not erotic enough, the film also alludes to some sapphic action! Alas, Alma passed away in 2014. But at least she leaves behind her lovely legacy on film (A Married Woman, Mejor de Teresa, Lo) and on TV (Al rojo vivo, Atrapada, Azul, La culpa). Adiós, Señorita Muriel.
