Top heavy and tattooed brunette Fast Ali made her first appearance as a mosh-pit dancer in the highly conceptual art film Cremaster 3 (2002), the third installment in a five-film cycle by multimedia artist and husband of Icelandic diva Bjork, Matthew Barney. In 2004 she appeared as punk-rock secret agent Julie Nyte in the short action film The Crusaders. A handful of uncredited roles in TV shows like Third Watch, Law and Order, and FX’s Starved as well as a part in John Cameron Mitchell’s Short Bus (2006) followed. She has also appeared in small roles in fright flicks Last Rites of the Dead (2006) and Pesticide (2008).
