Born Frances Margaret Grant Russell to a Filipina mother and New Zealand father in Dunedin, Franki is a bona fide beauty queen who started out as a model and then moved to the Philippines and appeared on the reality series Pinoy Big Brother in 2019. Her acting career kicked off around the same time, all the while Franki began competing in pageants, first reaching the top thirty in the 2021 Miss Universe United Arab Emirates before the competition was canceled. At one point, she crowned Miss New Zealand and was set to compete in the 2024 Miss Universe pageant but was stripped of the title when the franchises PR company got wind of her racy film career (though she was eventually appointed as the New Zealand representative for the inaugural Miss Cosmo pageant that same year.) But let’s get back to the nudity that got Franki in hot water. She has a handful of acting credits from her run as Hannah Robles in the cop drama Ang probinsyano (2019-2020) to her recurring role in the miniseries Safe Skies, Archer (2023-2024), and films like Martyr or Murderer (2023) and Wish You Were the One (2023) in between. But it’s the films she made with Pinoy entertainment hub Vivamax (now called VMX) that had people clutching their pearls - among other things no doubt. Her first one, Pabuya, has Franki debuting her breasts and butt on screen during a skintimate sex scene, and that makes her a winner in Mr. Skin’s book!
