Though born in Turin, Giulietta Revel was adopted and raised in Rome, and has the distinction of being the first woman to enlist in the experimental group of the Italian Army when she joined in 1992. After her military service she started acting with the Teatro di Roma and made her professional stage debut in a production of Cabiria directed by Renato Giordano. When she moved on to film, she made sure to the learn from the best, serving as assistant director to Dario Argento on the film Non ho sonno (2001).
