Mexican actress Irán Castillo has quite the impressive list of credits on her acting resume, all done in her home country. Born in Veracruz, she made her debut as Biela in the TV series Ángeles blancos in 1990 at the age of 13, and went on to appear in multiple series. She was Cristina Preciado Mariscal in Retrato de familiafrom 1995-1996, Jackie in Confidente de secundaria in 1996, Rocío Huertas Guzmán in Loving Again from 2003-2004, Santina Samperio in El bienamado in 2017, and Gladys Carmona in La Mexicana y el güero from 2020-2021—and those are just shows where she appeared in 90 or more episodes. In shorter stints, she’s famous for her role as Rosaura in El Pantera from 2007-2009 (16 episodes), and as Sofia Casares in Perseguidos from 2016-2017 (34 episodes). The dark-haired beauty actually began working professionally in commercials at age seven before branching out in soap operas, and eventually primetime series. Irán has also hit the big screen, and earned a nomination for Best Actress from the Ariel Awards, Mexico’s equivalent of the Oscars, for her role as Gabriela in the movie Victorio (2008). The sexiest she’s gotten on the big screen was in Ready to Mingle (2019), where her character Ilse strips down to a cleavage-boosting hot-pink bra and matching curve-hugging pencil skirt.
