Jo Newman was born in Massachusetts and, like many aspiring actresses, moved to New York City as a teenager. She scored her first screen acting gig in the soap opera Guiding Light in 2003 and followed that up with roles in Sensing Murder, The Sopranos, Gossip Girl, Mayne Street, Wainy Days, and other shows. Jo burst out of the boob tube and onto the big screen in 2009, and it was only a mere year before Ms. Newman was getting nude! In Love & Other Drugs (2010), Jo shows off her utterly-amazing udders while mounting Josh Gad, who was definitely glad to receive such teatment--er, treatment.
