As an aspiring actress, we wonder if Kathryn Kay understood that she would be making history as a part of one of the earliest erotic films ever when she signed on for 1927’s Forbidden Daughters. Directed by notorious nude photographer Albert Authur Allen, the silent film features Kathryn as a dancer in an East Indian trader’s harem and shows the starlet completely stripped down, cutting a rug while revealing her cans, caboose, and carpet. The salacious nature sadly meant it was the first and last project for many, but Kathryn was one of the lucky ones. Ten years later, she was able to land another role in the Jack Benny picture Artists and Models but then she seemed to disappear from Hollywood forever. If only Kathryn could have lived in the modern era, she’d probably be one of Tinseltown’s most tit-illating stars!
