Born on Halloween in Victoria, British Columbia, the captivating Kayla started out as a theatre kid and was able to pursue her childhood dream when she attended The Canadian College of Performing Arts. The talented triple threat was then able to land herself in the chorus of Disney’s popular 2015 movie Descendants and just four years later Kayla found herself with a recurring role on the hit Hallmark series When Calls the Heart. In 2022 she starred in two Hallmark films with her now-husband Kevin McGarry: Feeling Butterflies and My Grown-Up Christmas List. Luckily Kayla decided not to settle for just doing ooey-gooey romances and in 2024 Taylor Sheridan chose her to play Rebecca Falcone on his big Texas oil drama series Landman. We’re glad he did because in the show’s second season, Kayla delivered her butt and sideboob for the first time on screen and our fingers are crossed that there is more where that came from on the horizon!
