A stunning stage superstar has finally made her way to the screen! Singer and actress Kery Sankoh is best known for her iconic performance as the Queen of Rock’n’Roll herself in the Madrid production of Tina, the jukebox musical about the life of the Tina Turner (fun fact: one of the writers of the musical is none other than P-Valley creator Katori Hall!). Founder of the Tina Turner Blog, Benjamin Degrès, noted “Out of all the actresses I’ve seen playing Tina on stage, she [Kery] probably was the one who tried the most to replicate Tina’s iconic stage moves, most notably her ‘bended arms’ gesture.” High praise, indeed. Kery has also appeared in productions of The Lion King and El Guardaespaldas, el musical, but she’s about to become known for so much more since hitting the small screen in the second season of Amazon’s Italian thriller series Memento Mori in 2025.
