You know you can be professionally hot when you're career kicks off as a "painted dancer" on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-in, which is exactly how Lisa Moore started in La-La Land back in the late 60s! She then spent the better part of the next 20 years "socking it to us" on every hit TV series that crossed the small box, as well as a few big budget flicks! Lisa moved from her home state of Georgia in the late 60s to Los Angeles and became a familiar face the day she arrived. She was on Mannix, Columbo, Ironside, Love, American Style, Charlie's Angels, you name it, she did an episode... Her biggest role was as Nurse Dorsett on another hit series, the long running Medical Center, from 1969-1975 for an impressive 20+ episodes. In the early 70s, Lisa actually got cast in some of the bigger "blaxploitation" films that came out at the time, opposite Bernie Casey in Hit Man (1972) and Jim Brown in Slaughter's Big Rip-Off (1973). She comes our way though in the VERY controversial crime drama flick in 1974's Act of Vengeance, in which she and a group of victims of the villain form a lady vigilante group that goes after their attacker in grand fashion. Lisa gets naked in a few scenes for your viewing pleasure, if you can handle the content. Sadly, the lovely Lisa Moore passed away at only 49 years of age in 1989, but her career can be looked back on fondly because she was talented and a true beauty!
