Maria Litto was born in 1919 and died in 1996, but she lived a life and we got to see the breast of it on film. Though she has been working since appearing in Der Seniorchef (1942), she didn’t appear naked for over a decade. Still, these were dark times for skin on screen and we have to give Maria props for being one of the nude pioneers who paved the way for the easier access we now have. In Dunja (1955), also known as Her Crime Was Love, Maria does one of those wild dances that sends her top off and her boobs out. Quite a sight for the times. She returned to the fleshy side of show business in Les confidences d’un lit trop accueillant (1973) to prove that mature women rock. And she did.
