Martine was born in 1949 in Gap, Hautes-Alps, France, and like most of the greats, she got her start on the stages of her native France. She made the jump to the screen in the early 70s and was instantly successful, getting parts on shows like Jean Pinot, médecin d'aujourd'hui, Les dames de la côte, and the mini-series Mozart. Martine has also had huge success on the screen over the years, having parts in not just French productions, but also movies like Jefferson in Paris (1995), Tell No One (2006), and the Molière masterpiece Le bourgeois gentilhomme (2001). Fun fact about this beautiful mature momma too, she was married to August Coppola from 1996 until his death in 2009. He was the brother of famed director Francis Ford Coppola as well as the father of none other than Nicolas Cage! Martine is Nic Cage's stepmom! Anyway, this salt & pepper haired dime-piece comes our way with a heart wrenching tale of love later in life with the Golden Globe nominated feature from 2019, Two of Us aka Deux. The story follows two lesbian pensioners who have kept their decades long love affair hidden from everyone in their lives, but when one suffers a medical emergency, their secret love life begins to be exposed to those around them. Martine is excellent in it and while there isn't much skin, she and Barbara Sukowa share a couple of solid smooches on the silver screen for our viewing pleasure!
