Gorgeously grinning imp Mary Collinson was born in Malta, one half of an identical twin set that would gain fame as a divine duo. Mary and her sister Madeleine arrived in Britain at the tender age of 17, and when they were 18, in 1970, the buxom and beautiful babes landed with a staple through their hot figures, the first identical twins to be featured as the centerfold and Playmates of the Month in the October 1970 issue of Playboy magazine. Scouted and admired, Mary and her sibling started receiving offers for movies, and although neither had a huge desire to become actresses, they went for it anyway, and obviously having no issues with nudity, were ripe for the sexploitation films of the early ‘70s. The twins appeared fully naked in Some Like It Sexy (1969), appearing to indulge in fleshly pleasures with each other (there was actually a body double used while filming the more intimate moments), and got lots of practice playing groupies, in both I Am a Groupie (1970) and Permissive (1970). In 1971, the dark-haired duo appeared in their one and only American film, The Love Machine starring Dyan Cannon, where Mary played Debbie and was naked in the shower. But perhaps the best known film (it was made in the UK, but also released in the US), was Twins of Evil (1971), with the delicious and desirable dish taking on the role of Maria Gellhorn. Technically, there wasn’t a ton of nudity in the flick, but the publicity for it was ripe with bare breasts and plump posteriors—Mr. Skin has a few documentary clips that shows Mary in her au naturel glory.
