Shortly after her debut in the Kenneth Branagh/Helena Bonham Carter blockbuster The Theory of Flight (She was “Checkout Girl.”) Nia scored a part on the hit British series Sunburn in 1999. The role apparently attracted enough attention for the young actress to garner a role in 1999’s Solomon and Gaenor, which was more or less a retelling of Romeo and Juliet, but in Wales at the turn of the century.
