Sarah Bertrand is one of the bevy of French babes that are up-and-coming on the Cinematic Scene, and like most of her cohorts, she is prone to a little on-screen nudity from time to time. Of course, this nudity occurs in movies that would be next-to-impossible to understand, even if they were in English, but that isn’t why we watch them, is it? After her debut in 1992’s Casanova’s Return, Sarah appeared in several nondescript roles, eventually culminating in 1994’s Bonjour Tristesse. After a few years off, she returned with a triumphant, nudity-laced turn in the made-for-TV picture Drole de pere, which means “Drool the Pear,” I think… At any rate, she appeared topless in it, as well as in the mini-series Louise et les marches, which just shows that American television standards have a long way to go before they catch up with European fare.
