A true Cali girl born and raised in Los Angeles County, Tawny Amber Young didn’t have far to travel to start her career in the entertainment industry. After an uncredited role as a girl in a bikini in the movie Lady Killers(2003), Tawny decided to get her 15 minutes of fame a different way—by competing on Rock of Love with Bret Michaels in 2007 for the hand of the bandana rocker from Poison. She only lasted for four episodes—one of which was a clip show, and the other the reunion show. Tawny then appeared on The Tyra Banks Show as a trouble dater. With those experiences under her belt, she headed back into the land of make-believe for minor roles in minor films like Stone & Ed (2008), Nude Nuns with Big Guns (2010), Bum with a Gun (2010), Head Over Spurs in Love (2011), Roll Call (2011), and Bloody Wedding (2011). She’s sexy in a lot of her work, being cast in such parts as “Stripper,” “The Nymph,” and “Hot Babe,” but it’s her role as Maria in The Family(2011), a horror film, where she strips down to nothing for a bubble bath.
