After making her debut in the Spanish film The Family, Fine, Thanks (1979), Iberian eyeful Vanessa Hidalgoheaded off to Turkey to play the character of Belma in the Turkish-language film Bal petegi (1979), aka Honeycomb—her only project that wasn’t Spanish is some way. Next up was the film El divorcio que viene(1980), or The Coming Divorce, followed by her role as a José’s secretary in Despido improcedente, or Unfair dismissal that same year. Actually, 1980 was a particular successful time for Vanessa, as five of her ten screen credits occurred during that year. You can also see the light-haired hottie in the 1980 film Forbidden Passion, where she played Criada; as Berta in Eros Hotel, and in Los locos vecinos del 2°, or The crazy neighbors on the 2nd. She only had one movie in 1981, the Italy and Spain collaboration C’è un fantasma nel mio letto, aka There Is a Ghost in My Bed, in the role of Meg. She was also Laly in Hooray for Divorce! in 1982. Vanessa ended her career on a high, and highly naked note, starring as Carol in the weird little drama, horror, mystery movie Black Candles, also released in 1982. The film’s Spanish title was Los Ritos Sexuales del Diablo, which translates to The Sexual Rituals of the Devil—just to give you an idea of what we’re working with here. What Mr. Skin shows you, though, is a little less heavy on the goats and blood and a little more light on the wardrobe, with Vanessa getting really naked in more than one scene, engaging in the “sexual” part of the title.
