Born Vedrana Egon in her native Sarajevo, Vesper’s time in the Youth Theater Troupe of the National Theater in her home country inspired her to travel to Los Angeles to attend a high school for the performing arts and to continue studying theatre and film in college. She started writing and directing her own projects in 2006 with the short film Omnia Mea Mecum Porto and in 2014, Vesper teamed up with French actor/director/writer Guillaume Campanacci for his directorial debut Devils in Disguise. The duo would collaborate on several more films, including (You Are) the Only Proof That I Exist (2017), A Toupee and a Gun (2020), One-Way Ticket to the Other Side (2024), and Whenever I’m Alone with You (2025).
