Writer Bojena Horackova channels her experiences into a semi-documentary in the drama À l'est de moi (2008). Seventeen-year-old Marta (Patricia Chraskova) leaves her hometown of Prague heading towards Paris, and meets many unusual characters along the way. Thirty years later, Bojena Horeckova leaves Paris for Prague and chronicles the same path in reverse.
