Buck Rogers in the 25th Century is a sci-fi series that ran from 1979 to 1981. It was a time when fantasy was again king in show business, not that it’s never anything less than a crown prince, but you know there are periods in Hollywood where the powers that be think that adults go to the movies and watch TV. They learn the error of their way pretty quickly, though. The premise of the show is that our hero and title character, played by Gil Gerard, is taken out of suspended animation and revived in the 25th century where he retains his previous status of hero. We love heroes, but heroines are hotter, and few are as hot as Erin Gray. If only clothing was optional in the future we’d have loved this program so much more.
