Nude: Death of a Salesman 1985 Nude Scenes

Arthur Miller's Pulitzer Prize winning play Death of a Salesman (1985) comes to the small screen in a poignant and well-acted adaptation directed by Volker Schlöndorff (The Tin Drum). Dustin Hoffman steps into the legendary role of Willy Loman, the titular shoe salesman nearing the end of his life with memories and buried secrets coming to haunt him in his final hours! When Willy returns home after a business trip was cancelled, his wife Linda (Kate Reid) becomes increasingly concerned over Willy's mental state, particularly considering he recently crashed their car. Their adult son Biff (John Malkovich) is home visiting, similarly depressed that life hasn't worked out the way he had hoped after a promising football career was put on hold because he dropped out of school. This argument between father and son about squandered potential is at the heart of Miller's work, as both men like to shift the blame to the other for Biff's failure to live up to what his father hoped for him. With this being a television adaptation, they can put a nice flashback in to illustrate the moment of schism between father and son, and even give it a skinsational twist! While attending summer school, Biff stops by his father's hotel room to see him and catches Willy with a woman in his room that's definitely not Linda! Kathryn Rossetter plays Willy's fling, her left breast falling out of her nightie as she collapses on the bed! This moment leads Biff to drop out of school and Willy, most likely, to have sex with that woman half his age!
