A wedding celebration is the setting for the Dogma production Días de boda (2002), number thirty in the series, and it follows the usual path of its predecessors. The low-key plot focuses on the groom primarily, a man who is uncertain of his sexuality and who has a crush on, of all people, his father-in-law to be.
