The German film hamlet_X Vol. 3 (2004), by experimental filmmaker Herbert Fritsch, is the third in a series based on William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. This segment explores the character of Ophelia, a very pregnant Ophelia, and her relationship with the Danish prince, as well as the rest of her family. A lush musical score and evocative photography make hamlet_X Vol. 3 an interesting, if overly mysterious, experience. Yoshiko Waki, as Ophelia, bares a pair of luscious lactoids and a balloon-sized belly.
