Shot entirely on an iPhone using guerrilla film tactics and a small crew, this conspiracy thriller stars Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor as Maya, a woman who was taking care of her cancer-stricken mother up until the moment she died. She’s reeling from the loss of both mom and her sense of self, choosing to engage in shoplifting and one night stands in order to avoid dealing with her grief. Then at the funeral, she’s reunited with her estranged father, Sam (Rhys Ifans). Wanting to make amends for his absence, he invites Maya to join him on a business trip to Cairo. But almost as soon as they arrive and try to reconnect, Sam is abducted and Maya must follow directions from the kidnappers, who lead her out of Cairo and through both Delhi and Seoul, in order to save his life. That one night stand mentioned earlier is the only hint of skin we get, with Phoebe’s bare back and some sideboob kicking things off as she takes a ride on some inconsequential stud.
