The hour-long black-and-white two-hander Julia (2023) stars Julieta Segura and Julio Rojas as simply Her and Him, and is based on a real experience that first time feature writer-director Hugo Martínez Fraile had several years ago. The pair meet and are instantly infatuated with one another, quickly spending every waking moment together. After a very brief period, she begins to ask him to indulge in some twisted psycho-sexual games as a way of getting pleasure. Julieta Segura throws herself into this role with great gusto, baring all three of her Bs in this intimate and intense film with lots of sex that looks real, but is all simulated. Could've fooled us!
