Wealthy businessman Daniel (Richard Gear) agrees to meet up with Rachel (Suzanne Clément), an ex he hasn’t seen in twenty years. During that encounter, he learns that he had actually gotten Rachel pregnant all those years ago and she had a son named Allen (Tomaso Sanelli) and never told him. The reason she’s telling him now is because Allen recently died in a car accident. This prompts Daniel to travel to Canada where Rachel and Allen had been living and spend time with people there who knew Allen so he can learn all about his late son. One such person is Alice (Diane Kruger), one of Allen’s teachers who he was close to, and who Allen had a huge crush on. At one point Daniel imagines walking with Allen and seeing a giant Alice grinding naked on the building.
