The period adventure Michele Strogoff — il corriere dello zar (1999), or Michael Strogoff — Courier of the Czar, is an Italian/German co-production. It's basically their attempt to create an Indiana Jones-esque adventure hero in a more ancient setting. It's better than the last joint venture from Italy and Germany, so that's saying something anyway. It's also got a great topless scene from Lea Bosco! Nice!
