Mickey (Zelda Adams) is a college student whose cancer has stopped responding to chemotherapy. Since traditional medicine is failing her, she elects to drive to the woods in upstate New York to see a mysterious healer named Solvig (Zelda's real-life mother, Toby Poser). Her father Jake (played by real-life father John Adams) joins her on the road trip despite highly doubting that Solvig’s witchy ways will help his daughter. But Mickey is convinced and will partake in any and all of Solvig’s weird rituals in order to conquer death. Toby dives into the role and at one point we see her covered in goo and grinding on a skeleton, pointing her sticky shakers skyward. The Mother of Flies will have you unzipping yours!
