Connor Bates (Ray Nicholson) is recently out of prison and working as a librarian in a small town trying to get his life back on track. While jogging one day, he meets Marilyn (Diane Kruger), the textbook definition of a femme fatale. The two embark on a torrid emotional affair that comes to a head when Marilyn asks for Connor's help in murdering her abusive husband Jock (Hank Azaria). While there is sadly no female nudity in this flick, there is a steamy scene where Diane Kruger and a bikinied Chase Sui Wonders share a sapphic smooch!
