Isla Gordon (Kate Hudson) is the only girl in a dysfunctional sports dynasty. The Gordon family heads the fictional legendary basketball team the Los Angeles Waves, and the late patriarch was an old school misogynist in a long-established boys club, so Isla, despite being a knowledgable hoops fanatic, was brushed aside while her brothers were all given cushy, important jobs. The oldest Cam (Justin Theroux) is the team’s President, former pro player Ness (Scott MacArthur) is the GM, and half-brother Sandy (Drew Tarver) is the CFO. This neglect causes Isla to act out (one of her antics is a 20-day marriage to the very nice Brian Austin Green), and Cam swoops in to save her from her messy life by making her the Coordinator of Charitable Endeavors. But Isla isn't the only one with problems. Cam’s a drug addict, and when he crashes his car into a family of Dutch tourists while high on crack, he decides to step down and put Isla in charge. She is, predictably, met with doubt and and skepticism from all over - players, analysts, even overridden by the brothers that are supposed to be supporting her. Kate looks as great as ever though, sporting a teeny pink bikini while doing business in a hot tub. Her younger college self is played by Toni Weiss, who strips down to her undies and shows some sideboob while bedding down one of her professors.
