Outspoken pop performer Pink lends her patented anti-establishment sass to Stupid Girls (2006), the first single from her hit I’m Not Dead full length. Written in response to what the singer dubs “the Stupid Girl epidemic,” the chart-topping track hopes to serve as a wake-up call to teenagers with an obsessive eye on their waistlines. The satirical video dresses the pop star in numerous guises, not limited to a 50 Cent back-up dancer, a bulimic teen, a Hilary Rodham Clinton-style politico, and a coked-out Mary-Kate Olsen. It’s a tad ironic that Pink looks so alluring in her image-obsessed vid, but skinhounds aren’t likely to complain.
