Single mom Deb (Louise Brealey) and her two daughters, Josie (Kat Sadler, the show’s. creator) and Billie (Lizzie Davidson, Kat's real-life sis) have been riding the struggle bus ever since the debt-laden father of the family left them about a decade ago. Now riddled with abandonment issues and almost crippling depression, all three are endlessly searching for some sense of stability in their personal and professional lives while still reeling from their traumatizing past. On the relationship front, Billie goes on a mission to win back her hard partying ex Nicky (Sam Buchanan) while Josie sticks it out with Seb (Freddie Meredith) despite the act that she’s really attracted to women. Her sexuality becomes harder to ignore in season two though when she develops the hots for Carla Woodcock’s Bianca, and in episode five things come to a head when the two do some serious spit-swapping. Now these brave girls need to work up the courage to lose a few layers!
