Based on the book by Britttainy C. Cherry, this Passionflix romance centers on Elizabeth (Kelcie Stranahan), who has decided to move back home to Meadows Creek with her daughter Emma (Charlotte Ann Tucker) after the death of her husband. Upon their arrival, they accidentally hit a dog, and it’s those sad conditions that introduce Elizabeth to Tristan (Ryan Carnes), the dog’s owner who also happens to have suffered great loss and lives next door. The dog ends up being fine and Elizabeth and Tristan begin to grow closer, even though the rest of the town seems to dislike the reclusive, tatted up neighbor. The two eventually give in to their desires, using each other as comfort, but end up developing real feelings that complicate their grief.
