Writer-director Nina Menkes's The Bloody Child (1996) certainly may not boast the most appealing title ever crafted, but its dreamlike, poetic take on violence and madness does not come without an erotic charge. Thanks for that go to (decidedly grown-up) leading lady Tinka Menkes--Nina's real-life sister, as well as Bloody's co-scripter and editor--who plays a military captain investigating a Marine who is accused of murdering his wife. As reality bends and female spirits whisk in and out of the action, Tinka gets repeatedly naked. And she's Bloody hot!
